Biden administration to temporarily halt some export approvals for liquified natural gas

Environmental groups want NV Energy to ‘step up,’ deliver on promises

Individuals and environmental groups have had their input on NV Energy’s 2024 Integrated Resource Plan, which some say will play a big role in the state’s energy future. The feedback session was mandated under Assembly Bill 524 which passed last year to increase transparency and engage Nevadans in energy decisions.

Thanks to order from Lombardo appointee, ratepayers to foot bill for NV Energy employee bonuses 

Nevadans, many of whom are struggling to pay their electricity bills, are now being asked to reimburse NV Energy for $5.75 million in employee bonuses, thanks to an amended order from Gov. Joe Lombardo’s appointee to the Public Utilities Commission, Randy Brown.
