Recently, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released both national and state unemployment and jobs data from September. According to the national employment situation report, the national unemployment rate is at 3.5 percent which is .2 percent lower than August.
In August, Nevada’s unemployment was 4.4 percent and in September, the state’s unemployment rate remained the same. The state unemployment is down 1.1 percent from September 2021.
