There have long been rail vehicles that are propelled by foot. Since the 1850s, maintenance personnel have traveled the train rails and carried out repairs on “rail bikes.” Even long distance crew and material transportation was done with them. 

In 2015, a firm called Rail Explorers started offering tours. Despite the company’s youth, its distinctive railroad trips have received an amazing amount of interest. These rail bikes offer a very distinctive way to experience Nevada’s breathtaking scenery in the current era, and they have just become more accessible than ever before in our state.

They recently added a Nevada location as part of their expansion. Carson River Canyon is a good destination for tourists and locals alike. All rides are between 70 and 90 minutes. The price of the rides is roughly $45 per seat and there are 4 seats per railbike. There are discounts for group bookings.
